2.5x4.5 Vintage Karaja Rug Pendants and Virginia:: Classic double Karaja medallions in sharp serrated palmette interior fills wrapped by a floral top view main border and inner and outer minor borders in a continuous interconnected boteh design motif. Primitive in design and weaving execution with all the nuances one would want to see. Definitely an earlier example of the type as a precursor of many twentieth century rugs to come.
