There, in 1976, they purchased a five acre vineyard along historic Highway 29. The founder of Napa Cellars, Mr. Charlie Woods, had only one goal: to produce the finest wines in his beloved Napa Valley. At the time, he saw great potential in Napa Valley's hilly vineyards. The climate was perfect here, with abundant sunshine but also ample cooling from the nighttime temperatures and
