however there is some discolouration at the back of the collar and the sides of the skirt as well as some faint marks to the micro check fabric and a few seam pops on the back of the skirt (one shown) as pictured

Small slit pockets at the hip add a practical detail and at the back a large fabric biw adds interest

which fasten the jacket

The coat is in very good condition with only some pinholes and marks to the lining as pictured

Wonderful Late 1930s / Early 1940s Original Vintage Black And White Floral Print Cotton Dress Dress Shields:With Dress Shields The hat perches loosely onThis gorgeous dress was made in the late 1930s early 1940s from black cotton with a small scale white flower print. The dress was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. A buttoned down bow detail adorns the neckline and the buttons continue down the front of the bodice and onto the attached fabric belt. A large inverted pleat at the centre of the skirt gives wonderful volume and turn up cuffs
