So this gives us the perfect little window of time to date this piece

This is what gives it its lightness and the floating effect it has when you move

From there the skirt builds in volume as it nears the hem with excess fabric all through the bottom hem to create those stunning curves folds

She had first gone to Australia in 1971 and returned in 1973. In the video she talks about how 'the 'Ayers Rock' print was based on the idea of creating a new version of the eighteenth century French Toile de Jouy technique of fine engravings. She translated the sketches from her trip into fine line drawings, which she then
