Each cuff has a buckle detail

I love how the lace finishes in a scallop at the bottom and a delicate and pretty layer of silk chiffon circles under it all the way around the hem

It has that great over-sized pointed collar and button cuffs that help maintain that cool shirt feel

The technique used to make this has been done for a very very long time and is still done today but not to the same degree and quality of the pieces done in the twenties. You will often see shawls from this period and the occasional dress, but to find a coat, original from the period is almost unheard of! And it is not a coat assembled from a shawl many of the "original" assuit garments
