In the skirt for example the lace is places vertically but since the skirt is so very full it ends up creating an angled line that gives both visual interest to the piece but also the illusion of greater height and length to the wearer

I don't feel like this is a true flaw but mentioned for accuracy

It's made from a high grade early nylon like fabric that one only finds from this time period - probably the most cutting edge swimwear fabric in its day

The bodice and sleeves are done in a short glossy fur that I believe is pony and the collar, cuffs and the skirting of the coat. The collar is cut to be oversized and the coat wraps over itself with a flared cut to the lower half of it. In real life and on a real body it has a more mod, baby doll feel then how it photoed sitting on my dress form. Each cuff
