1960s Teal Traina Emerald Green Embroidered Silk Dress designer-hanae-mori The jacket is a classicGeoffrey Beene worked for the Traina label from 1958 through to 1963 and I feel that this must be one of his designs. I have seen similar pieces from him later from his own label and its fascinating to see what is probably an early piece of the evolution of one of the great American designers. Here we have an extraordinary full length gown made of a good weighted silk satin in a deep, clear emerald green. The impact of the color alone is fabulous and
