This incredible three piece suit was made in the 1940s from a lightweight white cotton with a woven in navy stripe

The small collar has been rounded off and a single fabric covered button fastens the coat at the neck

reminiscent of trees blossoming in spring

The suit is in very good condition with only 2 small marks (one near the skirt hem and the other on the jacket) and a hole near the skirt hem as pictured

The skirt is made up of the same two tone fabric in a box pleat pattern with the crepe on the top and satin inside the pleat
